how to check ball joints
how can i tell witch ball joint needs to be replaced between the upper and the lower??
yes ive searched but all the google links brings me to ford sites

to check the top, jack up the car and grab the wheel at 12 and 6 and wiggle. it you get a knock up top thats the bad upper.
on the lower, put a prybar between the inner wheel and the lower ball joint stud and pry. if you get compression, and expansion, the lower is bad.
