Default 100,000 mile tune up

Your search for 100 000 returned 4 results.

None of which dealt with what to do at 100,000 miles. So here it goes.

I just rolled over 100,000 miles this weekend and started thinking of things that need to be replaced. I dont know if there is a general consensus on what needs to be swapped out on an R versus other Hondas but i figured with all the knowledge on this forum, here would be the best to come with questions . So here it is: What do you guys recommend for the 100,000 mile tune up. This is what ive been suggested so far:

Plugs and wires
Drain and refill fluids (brake, tranny, etc)
Timing belt
Fuel pump (?)
Oil pump (?)
Clutch

TIA

I would do the timing belt ASAP. Many recommend it done at 75,000 miles. Manufacturers recommendations are not conservative enough IMO.

Oh yeah, and Waterpump while they are in there.

i wouldn't do the fuel pump , clutch or oil pump...unless needed...you'll know to replace the clutch when it starts slipping.

i would replace dizzy cap and rotor, fuel filter, thermostat and the valve cover and plug gaskets and also oil seals behind the cam gears when doing the timing belt...also adjust valves....

i also replace my oil pan gasket too. those seem leak after a 100k miles...
all i can think of right now...
good luck

i just did my 90,000 tune up this weekend at 114000 miles I did:

Timing Belt
Waterpump w/ gasket
Idler pulley
Timing Tensioner
A/C Belt
Valve cover gasket
Spark Plug Seals
Coolant Flush
Valve Adjustment
Driver's side mount nuts/bolts/washers

I should've changed my alternator and powersteering belts while i was in there but i forgot to buy them. Oh well, they are somewhat easy to get to.

Brake pads, and rotors
plugs, cap, and rotor
AC, PS, and alternator belts
