Default Code #8 TDC sensor

My car started running sluggish yesterday and would only hit Vtec once in a while. I pinned my service connector and came up with code 8 which is the TDC sensor. I know this is in the dizzy. So is there an easy fix or do i have to buy a new dizzy.

the easy fixis usually put a new distributor in. it only taks a few minutes.
