Default d16y7 swap + crx si trans WONT WORK!

i did a 96 d16y7 swap on my 1990 wagon (d16a6)
i only used the d16y7 head and block and everything from the wagon like intake manifold, exhaust, alternator, dizzy, harness etc. using a crx si trans though

after everything was in already i tried starting it up and went for a joyride only for like 10 meters from my driveway i heard a BANG sound then the car won't move at all no more eventhough i don't step on the clutch pedal it goes in gears and i hear a grinding sound from it

pulled the tranny down and checked everything looks a ok bearings, alignment clutch, etc

what would be the prob on this? is it the cable needs loosening up? maybe i tighten it too much thats why even if i dont step on the clutch it goes in gears? but how did i drove the car for 10 meters then i heard that BANG sound?

any help from you guys would be great

BTW this was my first swap

you didnt seat one of your axles in fully, so the axle came out. thats why you have no power and youre chewing up the tip of the axle joint, which is the grinding noise.

it should still work if you can force the axle back in, i know because it happened to me before. but i would flush the tranny fluid again at least. youve got bits of metal in there now, not good.
