I'm swapping my old d16z into my brothers 94 dx and i was wondering what I had to do in order to hook up the Vtec. I have the ex computer but I dont know what wires to add to his dx harness.

 

you would need the ecu pinout, and run the wires directly into the ecu I dont kno the pinout off the top of my head. From the vtec solenoid u have to run one wire to the vtec avactor pinout and one to the oil pressure pinout and ground the other one

 

Run the VTEC solenoid wire to pin A4 on the ECU. Run the VTEC pressure switch to pin D6 on the ECU. Connect the pressure switch ground wire to a good ground.

 

dam if u would of just read the first post in this forum it would of gave u all the info u needed

 

can anybody out there hook me up and tell me how 2 hook up the v-tech on a 91 honda civic with a pr3 ecu

 

waz up man by any chance i wondering if u knew how to wire the vtech into a pr3 ecu?
