someone please help
i bought a 89 std from a friend for $450 but he told me it didn't run so i picked it up bought it home and didn't have one problem with it for 3000 miles till last night
so i was driving doing about 60 mph in 4th gear (only has a 4sp
) and it just died on me so i put it 3rd and poped the cluch and nothing happend it just bogged down so i pulled over and tried to start it and after about 3 or 4 tries it started so i was driving some more going around a u turn and it died again but this time it i was still rolling turned the key and it started back up
and also early that same day it was sitting in my driveway just running and it died i started it back up and it died again i started it back up and it was fine
also when im driving it will some times fell like it bogging down but than it will go away
i hope some one can help im doing a zc swap in a couple weeks but i need this to last cause this is my daily driver
the alternator is also going can this be the cause of this

Sounds like O2 Sensor or Main Relay.
Do your lights dim when this happens?
Maybe a loose ground somewhere in the engine compartment?
Check your battery wires and make sure they are tight.

the lights so go dim when my system hits but i haven't been using it lately just cause of my alternator my battery is tight so i guess ill have to check the grounds main relay and o2 but wouldn't the check engine light come on from the o2 thanks for the help
