We have a saying in my field - garbage in, garbage out. Could you possibly use the spellcheck feature of this board first? Do yourself a favor and download the civic helms pdf/buy the manual.

look on the back of the block under the #2 runner of the intake manifold.

you should be able to find one on a vtec motor at the junkyard.

you mean he WAS using it??? I figured that is why I wanted to break it, so he would have an excuse as to why he types blindfolded with his pinky toes.

Did we not yet learn that it's NOT a KNOCKOUT sensor???? It is a KNOCK sensor and I'm pretty sure the D-series does not have a knock sensor, but If I am wrong then I am sure it will fit the B-series because most things like that are interchangable between motors.

That stament does not even make sense?? what is a D series Vtec??? man I am about to stop replying to this thread if you don't learn how to type.

The Dy8 is a SOHC D-series knock sensor, if you have one already it should work. If you are thinking of buying this one new don't do it because due to how expensive these stupid sensors are you really want to buy the one you need to make sure it fits (Even though the D-series should work)
These damn sensors are $150.00 from honda and about $120.00 from Napa so either way they are not cheap!
