Omni Power EF kit
i'd like to hear about this also, i know a guy who i road raced with that had the omni sports on his ek and he loved them, he is gonna be giving them to me for very cheap so im considering using them w/ eg front forks, many people seem to disagree with using omnis on HT.
some IMPUT PPL!

I've heard good things from the EK/EG owners but nothing on the EF body. As fas as using the EG forks and EK suspension on your EF I don't like that idea, I've heard alot of people doing that but the geometry will not be the same as it would be with the proper setup, the EK or EG setup on the EF will be more compressed (under more load than needed) all the time because they have a longer stroke than the EF.
But yes I would also like to see how the Omni setup is on the EF because it seems most people just think it's too stiff which IMO would be right up my ally. I tend to like my car stiffer than most due to benifits gained on smooth surfaces when you really want to pull some Gs!
i am guessing the EF setuo would be in this same catogory, great for the track but no as forgiving on the street.

I hear ya but I would still get the PROPER setup for your car especially if you are going to go turbo, don't cheap out with mixed/matched parts just to get "something" on there. Go with the proper setup and you won;t have to worry about it again!

I would also like to here some feedback for the EF's. They only thing that I read on here about them was that you cannot "dump" an EF with them.

I have the sport coilovers for the street/track. I like my car set up for the track, even when driving on the street, so granted i like it a bit stiffer than most. the coilover set up is AMAZING so far, i have no complaints about the handling or performance of the set up. the only thing is that you cant lower the front, since they used the EG shock body length on the fronts for the EF's. I have been in constant cotact with dave from omni power and he has assured me that the problem is being fixed.

I loved that post, I hope everybody that runs the EG setup on their EFs reads this so they will know that it is NOT the right way
I'm also the same way with how I like my suspension, track first and street second! any idea when the problem will be fixed? I have considered these for a future upgrade but want more feedback as well.

Wait wait wait, that front drop is still an issue !?!?!?!? I just had like 3 e-mails with bob and he said I should not have any kind of a problem with a 2 inch drop.
And Rob, did you buy the omnis to lower your car alot, or did you want good performance out of your suspension.

I wanted a lil bit of both...
When I bought them, the omnis didnt drop it at all in the front,
so I had to lower the top perches (which you're not suppose to do) to
get a decent height, even with that, I still had 2-3 finger gap on the front !!
.. I wanted to exchange/or return the omnis in November . but they told me to wait till spring cuz they were working on a new design.. 2 weeks ago, they told me I cant return them any longer.
and they are not redesigning the,
So I sold them privately.

welcome to the world of omnipowerusa.
I think they wanna get rid of the EF Omnis quick, before the word gets out on the internet ! Bob hung up on me twice about this issue.
Only the EF chassis has the problem.
