Default exhaust smells like gas and it also spits brown liquid

since the time my car started to shake baddly,i noticed she smells alot like gas from the exhaust when i warm her up. i also notice some brown colored liquid which gets spit from the pipes. it also left a residue on my pipe itself. whats that? i tried to search for exhaust smells, but nothing. since these things are occuring back to back and i still havent installed all the major OEM pieces yet,i might just decide to sell her and those parts. so i'll ask all i can for now

If you have gas commint out of your exhaust I would check these things out

1. Leaky injector
2. dead plug or wire

the brown stuff could be oil. is the timing off?

This all goes back to the thread involving the skipping / dead cylinder.
Fix the skip. get rid of the smell.
The brown fluid is a mix of water (from Combustion) and the soot from inside the pipes.

Yeah man that car will be fine.I have a 90 ex to.I have had only been stranded one time.It was because of a rusted fuel line..I had to replace the engine a year ago at 200.000k and that was because I let my sister borrow it and she never checked the oil.*L*I got it back from her and thought huh whats that light tapping noise.I had for kids in the car and was worried out of my mind as it got louder and I knew it was a rod.LOng story short I decided to just drive it because the damage was done and it got us home with the #3 cylinder rod hanging out of the block.I called around the next day and found a used engine with100k on it for $250 and changed it.It Burns no oil whats so ever but my sister,She's burnt her car borrowing bridge.
