Default Sensor plug swap question - interchanging obd1 and obd0 plugs

My brittle coolant sensor plug/temperature sensor plugs on the side of the head snapped off at the wire(near base of the plug) leaving no room to fix. So i went to the junkyard to hunt down some good ones. No luck finding any obd0 ones. I found some off an obd1 car. While examining the plugs, they look identical, they fit onto the sensors and the same color wires extend out the ends of the plugs. Will there be any issues if i mate the obd1 plugs to the obd0 harness? Will it work?
