I think that they are a little bit too extreme to be used on a daily driver. I don't think that you are going to have a reliable idle with them...plus your gas mileage would be totally gone after you got them tuned. The stage 2's would be a better bet probably.

I agree that it was wrong - but I'm betting that if you were standing next to the guy having this conversation with him and he said that, your reply would have been much more polite, or at least civil.

Anyway, no biggie - you've been around here for a very long time and are well respected. I've just noticed a drastic decrease in the helpfulness and a huge increase in flinging attitudes and thought I would say something...

They idle perfetly and fuggin' scream. You will not regret putting them in, other than the crator sized dent they will put in your wallet.

I can second alexboy/Dean's response since I have seen/heard them on his car, and driven it as well. It feels like an ITR, only faster. It is still untuned. idle is not a problem. even it idled funny...would you really care? its not like it stalls if it idles weird.

JUN III are fine for the street (I have them in a 12:1 compression motor). Idle is stock, the fun begins at 5700 when the cross over hits. VTEC is fn loud and its mostly all from the intake. By the way if they are tuned right youll make power all over the rpm range, not just top end like everyone says. Import review has a dyno where the JUN III and toda bs were almost identical during midrange. Toda Bs have better midrange torque. JUN III loads of power during vtec all the way to 8800 rpms

They idle almost like stock....at least that was the impression that I got in the week that I had them before they broke

JUN Japan is now examining my head to see why the cam broke
