Ouch!!! Get well soon. Is JUN going to do anything for you about the damaged pistons and valve train? That's a pretty serious failure on their part.

the pistons does not seem to be damaged very badly. just looks like its been scraped, scratched. Just take sandpaper and sand it down lightly and it should be ok.
Now all these jun breaking is starting to get me worried bout my jun3.

Well, I just heard from JUN USA. The head and the broken CAM has been shipped to JUN Japan so that they could examine it. JUN USA could not determine the cause of breakage.
I will probably hear from the guys in Japan next week. I also spoke to Todd at JUN USA and he said that if I had any questions, to give them a call. Seems like they have decent customer service. I will keep you guys informed when I get more info.

what springs did you use??? I know that JUN almost demands you use their springs---- I talked to the guys in Japan about this, cause I wanted to be a cheap ***. I guess that I will have to buy the springs now.
Damn I feel your pain spending money and seeing it end up ruined truly can **** a person off. The onlly thing i can think is that the cams were incorrectly torqued down

Any word back from JUN Japan? Just stay persistant on it. I have still not sent my retainers back to them. My retainer on the intake side on cylinder number 4 broke, the outer ring on the retainers sheared off and my whole engine was completely destroyed from the block to the head. I should send them my head and retainers. Even an expert machinist said there should be no way the a titanium retainer should have broke like that.
At least the bottom end is salvageable make the best of it hopefully JUN is cool and remburses you
I just got word from JUN, the breakage was not due to the cams fault. However, they still took care of me
All I gotta say is that this is a great company

good business is contagious.
jun stage 3 cams sound even nicer now.
They were not specific, but they said that the motor experienced some sort of shock load. The metal in the cam was all up to spec, so it was not JUN's fault.
I cannot give you more details because I promised that I wouldn't, but they took car of me
