Default New ECU, now it won't start!!?

Alright, I finally got the OBD2 ECU (model number P72-A05) for my JDM B18C. I previously had the OBD1 Version of this ECU (p72-something). I plugged it in, disconnected the battery, reconnected it, and the car won't start. It turns over, but no ignition... This ECU should work, right? Any insight???

what year is the ecu? all 2000 acura ecu's have immobilizers built in and you would need to install the whole immobilizer system on your car....

37820-p72-a05 is either a 2000 or 2001
37820-p72-a04 is a 1998 or 1999

****. So would it even be possible or realistic to integrate the immobilizer system? If not, a '99 GSR ECU should work instead, right?

Did you check the fuse? I know egtwincam is probably right with the immobilizer thing, but check the fuse just to be 100%.

you can integrate the immmobilizer in your car but i believe for it to work.. you must have the vin# of the car that the ecu came out of. its needed for a honda scanner to program your immob..

Yes. you can use a 99 gsr. but. ecu connectors are different. youll have to change them.

So for that I just need an OBD2b > OBD2a wiring harness. I'm fine with that, as long as the car starts this time...
