hello,

im getting ready to buy a 1990 honda civic dx hatchback and i need to know if its a good deal.

the car has:
1.6l obd1 sohc vtec engine with 1.5 block
dpfi to mpfi
dc sports header
b and m short shifter
aem cold air intake
hi flow cat
obx exhaust
skunk 2 cams
cam gears
aem pulleys
he says p28 ecu
88-91 si gauge cluster
new paint ( no rust or anything )
air fuel ratio gauge
vtec light
ls seats
painted interior
crx center peices and dash
new aluminum radiator
11 to 1 compression


i know for sure it has everything except compression, cams, cam gears and the ecu. Im getting it for 1750 and he says it runs a 15.0 does this sound right? and is this a good deal?

 

Rust? If no rust it's a good deal I guess. If it's rusty it's a rip off for a 1.5L block. Probably stock bottom end that's been beaten up. And you can check for a cam gear, not a cam. And it's a SOHC, no camS and cam gears.

 

i think you are getting a pretty good deal for that cheap, i paid 1500 for my 88 crx dx and i bought it from my bro... so i would def. get it
