AEM adjustable Cam Gears
Hi, i want to know if someone has tryied the AEM Adjustable cam gears for a SOHC VTEC (D16Z6) and if they help a lot or just a little bit or just nothing and how much of horse power increase can i expect. My setup right now its not too much AEM Air INTAKE, OBX 4-2-1 Header, High flow Cat. Thanks

You have cam GEARS on an SOHC?! Damn. I've got a JG cam gear, and it does me just fine, but AEM's a good name to.

AEM is a great brand, however tuning is the key, just installing the part will not mean performance. If no dyno then just change i/e setting to find best "throttle feel". As for brand name, yes, AEM good. I would recommend unorthdox, however very costly, you might just want to save and go AEM, many online stores have super deals everyonce in a while. Maybe check classifides for a used one.
Good luck.
