my car has been in storage the whole winter, so i decide to take it out for a spin.. when i took it out of my garage, i found that I HAD TO FORCE MY CAR INTO REVERSE...i flushed my tranny out, and it was still the same, anybody know why???

 

it could just be cus its cold, cus winter is definitely not over. my tranny gets notchy in colder weather.

my favorite tranny fluid might help: gm synchromesh friction modified

 

^^^ and throw it into first several times before putting it into any other gear

 

i forgot. sometimes it helps to hit the clutch and let go of it in neutral and hit it again and try putting it in reverse. i dont know if that will help though. if you flushed your tranny and refilled it on your own you probably already tried that.
