Default please help!! how do i fix the code p1457 (evap)? 98 v6 accord

i got the evap code on my 98 v6 accord (115,000 miles). i got it after i cleaned my butterfly valve with a spray cleaner from autozone and also cleaned up my air intake (aftermarket). i also cleaned out my dad's and brother's accord and nothing went wrong for them. i went to autozone to get the code and then i looked to see if any of the vaccum lines were pinched but everything looked fine. so i reset the computer and still the cel comes on again after 3 trips. i checked the connections of the vac hoses and the canister itself and everything was fine. when i took off one hose it let out some vapor??? does that mean anything?
on top of that i also have a p0420 codes which means something to do with the catalst or i guess the cat. converter?? any info is greatly appreciated!!!

there is a bulletin on that,, call the dealer they should know which parts to sell you,,, i believe it is the ( 2 way valve ) and the evap solenoid valve ) both located at fuel tank,,

Unfortunately it's hard for a DIY person to diagnose an EVAP problem. But the Since the code just came on after you did that work get a can of brake clean or carb cleaner and spray it around that general reigon and listen for the engine to pick up speed for a second or two. If that happens you have a broken evap or vaccum part. The Catalytic converter code was set because of the t-body cleaning. It just happened to me this week. The dirt and crap that came out moved into the converter. Mabye if you clear that one it won't come back (if your lucky)

located at the fuel tank! that sucks, is it hard to get to or should i just leave it for my mechanic. i also wanna ask, if the problem is by the tank, then why doesnt the other code for the evap system turn on because i think the other one is for the gas tank. im not doubting you but it just seems like a stupid way for Honda to diagnose this by using the canister code. thanks for all the help guys. ill let u know how it works out.
