How to put door panel back on?
Okay, what's the trick to getting the door panels back on? seems to come off easily enough, but man it's a sweat to get these things back on correctly. I'm having problems with the top edge, especially around the front portion near the little triangular plastic piece. I've got it back on, but it just doesn't sit right. Yeah, I had the window down while trying to put it back on. anyone with some insight on how to make this job easier? what am I missing here? GRRR.... HELP!!!
I figured out a better way while installing my new mirrors than to angle the panel and scratch up your inner door. What you want to do is take off the cap that covers the screws that hold your side mirrors in. Just pull back, but becareful because it breaks easily. After that you can just drop in the panel from the top. Simple as that. Put the cover back after you dropped the panel back into place. HTH.

if you felt his response to your post as a negative one towards you...its because you welcomed it in the way you responded
...honestly, i don't see anything "constructive" in your first response
I ran into the same problems when I removed mine. Beware that if you install them incorrectly, they'll rub against the triangle piece and make annoying squeaking sounds.
I had to take them off quite a few times to get it right. Honestly, I got so frustrated with the freaking door panels that after I've "hooked" the top, I just punched it a few times going forward and backward. To my surprise, that worked. It just popped right back in.
Don't punch it too hard though, the clips on the door panels could and will bend--especially the end near the B pillar.
