Ok - what the heck is the best way to change the transmission fluid?!!?!?!?
I looked under and found the drain and filler bolts but they couldn't be any more difficult to get to. For anyone thats done it, what's the best way? It looks like it may only be possible with a long tube to snake down to the filler bolt, but I dunno for sure
yep,
Check discount auto/autozone/pep boys etc, they have a funnel with built in flexible tube connected to the bottom of it for like 3 bucks. I bought one and filled it from the top.
Or you can take it to a quick oil change place and have them do it for 19.99

my shop had this cap thing u screw onto a quart of oil that has a long clear hose on it and a valve. that way u screw the thing onto the quart of transmission fluid and put the hose into the filler hole on the tranny. you don't have to jack the car up or get underneath it or anything. you hold the quart upside down, put the tube int he filler hole, then release the valve and the oil flows in. and thats end of story.

Take it to good year .... they do a complete flush ... instead of just draining it and filling it ... they run fluids through it to get all the junk out ... then they fill it
