for a few days now, when ever i turn in my crx, i hear a squeeking noise. it's kind of hard to explain, but that's the best way i can think of. i'm not sure what it could be. any thoughts would be much appreciated. thanks a lot.

 

I've been hearing the same thing as well. My initial thought is that is was the plastic covering the steering column rubbing against the back of the steering whell, but I haven't investigated yet. If so, I think a little shot of silicone spray would do the trick.

 

so it's nothing too serious to worry about or anything. ill try to silicone spray once i get home from college so it might be a month or 2

 

take off your steering wheel and grease the metal contact ring.

pry off the H emblem to get to the 19mm nut.

 

I think most CRX steering wheels squeek when it is cold.

they don't when you lube them.

 

thats right lube them up and it will go away
