Car- 96 Integra LS

I am trying to pass NJ state inspection. Car is throwing CEL code for 02 sensors, if I convert to OBD I (harness and ECU) will the codes be gone?

Anyone who can help please do

wtf.. i've never seen that done before... it might take the codes away, but i don't think it'll work. plus you won't pass state inspection if you convert your OBD2 car to OBD1. you can go up in emission control, but never down, as in your case OBD2 to OBD1.

 

nope. you cant go down to obd1 to pass emissions.. just "meet" some people, have them help you out with passing always the easiest way.

 

or just spend 40 bucks and put a new 02 sensor in it!!!!!!? why spend 300 bucks or get fined when you can do it the right way?
