plug wire popped off at 7.5k, ran like wrx for a block, then died, PLEASE HELP!
as the topic states I pulled out of work in traffic and tried to get out of the way, at about 7-7.5k in 2nd heard a loud noise( intake noise) so I let off and rolled up to the next stop light. I sit there a second like wtf was that, then I noticed my idle was ruffer than normal(es motor mounts). So i started off from light and had the notorious wrx sound, had to go about 2 blocks before I could pull off, well I made it about 1.5 blocks and cel started flashing and the engine cut off. So I coasted in a driveway at the next store. get out pop the hood and a plug wire had popped off the dist. cap. i put it back on but now all the engine does is turn over. the engine is a b16a, the ign. setup is a msd wires, cap, 6al, and ss blaster coil. It will be tonight before I can get my tools home from work to do anything ,but does any body have any bright ideas. coil? igniter? 6al? ive already replaced the 6al about a year ago when it went bad, im just wondering where all that spark went when plug wire fell off, those msd displays show those things shooting over a huge gap.
