Default Kteller Resonator

I'm getting a custon 2.5 inch exhaust with a hi flow cat and a magnaflow muffler. I've heard that even with a high flow cat the magnaflow can still be a little raspy. Should i just go ahead and pick up a kteller resonator here http://www.kteller.com/store/p...d/713 to lower the tone a bit more? Or are there any better resonators someone wants to suggest? And the resonator on kteller is 18 inches, is that ok?

Which hi flo cat are you going with?

A resonator should cure the problem to a degree, but I am not sure how much.

Take a look at the first post. There are some higher flowing cats. SMSP did some testing. You might change your mind, you might not.

the longer the resonator the more it will quiet the exhuast.

I had a 18" on my JUN head with no cat and it wasnt raspy. 18" should be fine. If you want to make damn sure, get the 22".

You should measure the distance from your cat to the closest bend, you need to make sure there's enough straight length of piping before the bend in your exhaust. 22" might be too long, you also have to consider there's a hanger about 1/4 of the way from my stock cat to the next bend, guess that doesn't make much of a difference, but it'd mean more work because youd have to weld a hanger onto the resonator if it gets in the way.
