Just FYI,
I've found a metal substrate cat that is classified as a performance/high flow cat. Therefore, we will be testing the proven Carsound 93506 (2-1/2"), versus a 2-1/2" Challenger versus this new 2-1/2" metal substrate cat. This testing may be done by the end of next week or hopefully the following.
Hopefully this new cat is everything the sales people say it is.

I should receive the metal substrate cat today or tomorrow. I'll post pictures when it comes in. Then off to be flow tested.

I will be watching this thread, for I have a JDM Toda header waiting to be bolted up to an ITR.
Thanks
p.s. Dave, I would like to talk to you about purchasing a cat in the very near future.

Here are some old pictures of the 2-1/4" (Carsound 93505) and Challenger Cat. These both are 2-1/4" ID cats but everything else (bricks and body) is the same in the 2-1/2" versions that will be tested. I'll get a picture of the metal substrate cat up soon.
The comparisons
Carsound left side, challenger right side

Update:
I dropped the 3 cats off at Jim Justice's shop today and he should have them flowed by the middle of next week.
