how much adjustability with the clutch cable?

how much adjustability with the clutch cable?

Hi, for whatever reason (don't ask) I need 3/8th of an inch more from what a stock clutch would use. Can the cable take up that much slack?

The rod on that cable is like 4" long. I would assume so? If not stick some washers under the adjuster.
