so my car used to make that clicky noise when i would try and start it and it would not start....so i replaced the starter...well now its doing it again...car wont start..hesitates...also lights are all dim while trying to start..and eventually if i keep the key turned then the car will fire right up....but it doesnt do that clicky noise anymore...does that mean its my battery now??....

 

check your battery and alternator

 

so even the alternator would cause for this slugish start up?? thanx

 

first off you need to test battery, if it is bad replace. once you have a good battery test alternator

 

also check you grounds

 

i was also going to say your connections, and wires from the battery make sure they are not all corroded
