Ok today I replaced the fuel pump (because it wasn't kicking on, and starving my car for fuel, which was causing it to die). Pump turns on now, but when I start the car, its still not getting fuel. Car will slowly die when I push start it, because it isn't getting fuel.

Only thing I can think that may be causing it is the fuel filter. Any other ideas?

 

Change the filter and see what happens. Thier like 10 dollars.

You put a replacement maxi pad on the pump?

Sounds like a bad connection though. Make a hole in the rex and inspect.

 

By replacement maxi pad, do you mean that little screen thing in the end of the fuel line from the tank?

No, I didn't. Looked pretty fine to me....but yeah. I went to autozone to buy a fuel filter for it, and the one they told me it was is completely diffrent.....and I didn't have time to dig for it. So tomorrow I'm going to disconnect the filter completely, turn the key, and see if fuel is even getting to the filter. If it is, then I'll know what my problem is......

 

just have them take the book out to your car and find one that works

id replace the filter first, and then look at the main relay and see if it needs to be resoldered
