Default vtec controller?

are vtec controllers worthwhile pieces? i only have intake/exhaust on my b16, would changing when the v-tec engages make much difference for power? if so what rpm would be best for it to kick in?

yeah u wanna do a lot more to your engine before u get a vtec controller. its good for setting it lower to build boost early if u have vtec and higher for all motor power in the high rpm range. make sure u get one that u can adjust the fuel on also. theres no point in changing vtec if u cant change how much fuel its feeding it.

if you get dyno tuned with a vafc (vtec controller) you might see a difference.
