Default noises when i turn on the engine.

i have a 97 accord lx. the mileage on it is 119k. I've just replace the timing belt when it was around 90-100k last year during the summer. i started hearing noises coming from the timing belt, so i got it replaced at a mechanic shop i saw on penny saver. paid 400$ for the timing belt water pumps and coolant. now i notice that it still makes that spinning squeaking noise when i turn on the engine. it only happens the first 5-10 minutes until the engine is heated. did the mechanic do a bad job? or is that normal when its cold outside. note- there's only squeaking noises coming from timing belt when i haven't start up my engine for awhile, like the next morning when i heat up my car before school...

Ok let me get this straight,, you did a t-belt at 90-100 k miles correct?? now car has 119k miles ,, you heard noises and a shop replaced the t-belt again?? that was a rip off ,, t-belt usually last at least 60k or more...why did you decide to replace t-belt as such low miles? ?why would he replace t-belt ?? man i'd stay away from this guy..and go back and have him fix the problem

.. I would chk to make sure belts are tight ,, alternator bearings noisy ?

The first questions that comes to mind are:
Did they replace the belt tensioner assembly?
Did they replace the counterbalance shaft drive belt?
Either one can cause a noise as you discribe.

There is an additional issue: as mentioned elsewhere, you may have an issue with noises from either the alt or p/s pump. To definitively find where it's coming from, take the drive belt(s) off one at a time and see if the noise goes away.

oh no. i replaced the t-belt at 100k and i still hear noises now that my car is at 119k. but i didnt replaced it agian. im just trying to figure out wahts that squeaking noise when i start the engine every morning. ill probably take it to the honda dealer ship and have them REALLY tell me whats wrong, instead of some bs mechanics trying to dick me.
