Default ***ALL RACERS CHIME IN*** INOVATIVE DRAG WHEEL PRODUCTION

i need some input from you guys on here for drag wheels....

what are you looking for in a drag wheel?
what design from a already manufactured wheel you think would look the best?
any street d.o.t rim design you may think would look tight as a drag wheeel?
what off set would be best for you?
what size would you like to see?
how about skinnies? what width would you see your self using?
what bolt patern? for 13" and 15" ?
would you guys like a 14" wheel made for the 5 lug guys ?
rsx and 06 civics chime in please i would love input from you guys too...

I think the sizes that are already available work pretty well but we need some different designs.

I like the stock steelie look. A black 15x7-8 4x100 aluminum wheel that looks like a stock steelie would be right up my alley

I think the most important thing is that they're strong like the good welds. The cheapo welds that were discountinued and the bogarts are weak as **** and bend way too easy. I'll give up a couple of lbs of weight savings for a wheel that won't bend so easy!

A 15" wheel that will fit over my brake kit (aem). It's gonna suck changing rotors every time I go to the track. Not that it's hard but ehh...i'd rather not.

As far as wheels wobbling...Ive seen some big rwd wheels new that wobbled pretty bad. We own a tire/wheel store and have seen far too many high priced race wheels that come like this. I'd hate to see what happens to these wheels after they are used on sub 9 sec cars

most definately !!!!! saftey first, ... but of course i would give up a lb. or so for some strong straight wheels, thats not really a concern for me... they will be just as strong as the welds.

what im really looking for is your preference of offset and size of the wheel,

but what about the look of the wheel ? what would you like to see ?

Its good to see someone else trying to help out the community with drag wheels.

We have been working closely with Rays in Japan for some new designs on some but for now we want to be able to supply the SFWD guys something since most wont be racing in the Turbo 4 class anymore and SFWD limits 13" (If Im not mistaken)

We had the same thing going on about a couple months ago

Man those sure as hell look like SSR SP1's. Is that like a 19x8.5 or 19x9.0?

this is not just for fwd, rwd as well... alot of 240s are coming out and mr2s, rx7, also i am trying to be as affordable as possible , rays are pretty damn expensive . i am following the market of the thrifty shopper, so i can help the low budget teams out ....

This is coming from a 26-28 inch tire perspective,
BEADLOCKS, even if they are just on the outside.

i think the beadlocks really need to be on both sides to really work right. With them only on one side, you will get a different wrinkle on the inside than the outside.

(SAFETYWISE) Our Mark Williams brakes are a tight fit without the inner beadlock, we are trying a double beadlock in the next day or so.
