difference between stock ITR front and rear springs
someone sold me ITR springs, when i put them on my civic, i noticed that the rear ones had 11 coils on them, but didnt think much of it. Now my car is jacked up really high in the rear. Im thinking that he sold me two sets of front springs. I know the front looks and feels fine though. anyone know how many coils are in the rear or anyone have a pic of a set of ITR springs so i can compare?

first off, the front springs are shorter than the rears, so if you have 2 sets of front springs your rear would actually be lower, NOT "jacked" up
secondly, the front spring coils are noticeably thicker than the rear springs
so in summary:
front= thicker, shorter
rear=thinner, longer

front= thicker, shorter
rear=thinner, longer
thanks for the reply
to make the short story long. when i bought the springs, the front came assembled with the shocks, so i just threw them on there. When installing the rears, I had to compress them onto the shocks i already had, and I did notice that they were noticebly longer that the front.
so your response makes sense, and it leads me back to my intial idea that the rear springs were really long because they have not been on a car in while and therefore have not been compressed in a long time. Maybe it will jsut take a long time to settle??
still not sure though.
btw, i was replacing the stock SI springs I had on there and the rear SI springs were much thinner and had 7 coils as opposed to the 11 on the ITRs

Thats not gonna happen, and if it did it wouldnt be noticeable.

Not the greatest pic, but they dont look like they have 11 coils. When I get home I will look to see how many coils I have.
i may have miscounted though, but i know it was more than the SI ones.. so they could be the correct rear springs

Thats no biggie, just quiets them.

other than that, they looks just like those ones in the pic, do you think that the fact that i put them on SI rear shocks would make a difference? maybe perch height is different?
