2.36" piping, tip welded on, not screwed in.
other than that, cosmetically the muffler itself looks exactly the same as the LS/RS/GS/GSR

i put on the whole catback on, the car made a bit louder sound, barely noticeable i couldn't "feel", but its good to know it does flow better.

I think only the jdm itr axel backs has the tip welded on. I believe the us itr axel back has a bolt on tip. ALSO, the piping on the itr axel back is mandrel bent, not crush bent like the ls/rs/gs/gsr. I also think the itr axel back is lighter in weight compared to my gsr axel back.

nope. i have a USDM itr axle back muffler. it's welded on. and all integras have mandrel bends from factory. none of them are crush bent.
also, it's the same weight.
only difference between JDM and USDM was the 2.5" piping, not 2.36" like US.

ooh, your muffler must be new. when i got mine, it was all dirty and nasty looking. some polish cleaned up the tip nicely though.

correct, but only the itr has smooth mandrel bends. the rest still have an indentation at the bend.

This is Incorrect, JDM is also 2.36 not 2.5, this is a myth,
the only difference from jdm and usdm is the tip is longer about a inch or so, i've had both of them before, and the 4door is extended 4-4.5 from the pipe/tip

I also own a jdm itr axel back as well.... according to everyone's response, here's what an itr axel back muffler has that the others dont have.
-mandrel bent piping (dark bronze color if new)
-welded slanted muffler tip, NOT a bolt on tip
-piping is slightly larger in diameter
I also did a little search in the archives and this is what i found:

Yeah...mine is slanted too..
I was thinking about getting the Type-R exhaust, but I think i'll just go aftermarket.
