My 90' CRX DX
Just look on the motor and see what the engine code is..
If its a b16 it will say b16a or b16a1,b16a2,b16a3..If its a zc motor it will say "ZC"..If its the 88-91 usdm si motor it will say "d16a6"..I hope that guy didnt screw you over man..Because there's big difference between a b16 and a sohc d16a6 or zc motor..
Are there pics of the car you bought on the internet anywhere?

How bad can a zc motor be? because imma base my assumptions from the receipt 88-91 civic si and from two of the sites ive looked at it says zc or d15a6. Which zc is jdm and he got it from a japanese dealer.
What's good and bad about a zc motor?
So imma talk about the deal also... White 90' CRX DX, clean title, aem two piece intake, short shifter, new motor, greddy exhaust, racing clutch, 8 piece body kit, 6 piece rims, carbon fiber hood, halo lights, carbon fiber tailights. FOR $1,500... bad side. Crapload of miles on chasis...270k. How is the deal?
Note: Dealer is my coworker, pretty close. Im believeing he is hooking me up, wouldnt want to intentionally rip me off i dont think. If he would... i can resale it for more. </TD></TR></TABLE>
So let me get this straight: Instead of going to the HUGE trouble of looking at the damn engine and reading the code off the block, you're just going to assume you know what the engine is, then ask us about that motor. Go read the damn engine code! If you were told it was a B16 and the block says ZC or D16A6 or D15, or anything other than B16 go throttle the **** that sold it to you. Nobody does an engine swap and doesn't know what they're swapping. He just lied.

Yeah if he said it was a b16 swap and it turned out to be a ZC, I hate to say it ( no I dont ) you got ripped off. I dont care whats done to the car. There is a big price diifference between a ZC and a b16. Just the simple fact that he lied, I would get your money back and slap him across his face with the back off your hand. Thats fucked up that he lied.
