Default Need a 2" to 3" cat for my CRX.

Just got a Thermal 3" cat-back exhaust system for my '90 CRX Si. It doesnt bolt to my stock cat. Anyone know of a place that sells a cat that has a stock inlet and a 3" outlet?

Just get a muffler shop to put it on, they will have adapter pipes in stock. Cheap.

Yea I did. No they dont.

I need a company that has or will fab a cat to the OEM length, with a 2" OEM inlet and the rest 3'' (body of cat and the 3 bolt/3" outlet). I currently have emails in to Catco, Kteller, Thermal, Magnaflow, Ultrarev, and Random Technology. Anyone have any suggestions?

If I were you I would get a 3" in/out catylist and just have the muffler shop put on a 2" tube that flares to 3" with a welded flange on the 3" side to fit the catylist and a welded flange on the 2" side to fit the header downpipe..If a muffler shop cant even do that they shoudnt be in buisness.

Yeah, whats the point of a 3" exhaust when it's bolted up to the outlet of a stock CAT?

The deal is I will have a 2" Neuspeed header to a 3" cat to a 3" exhaust when I am done. I know this can be done and if no one in the world has ever done it then it looks like I will be the first. But it WILL be done!

This kit is very well engineered and it fits perfectly. The sway bar on the pass side must be removed, however, so the pipe can go over the control arm.

I talked to Thermal today. They said their #E134 cat will work. It is an oval 3" in - 3" out cat and comes with an adapter that will bolt to a turbos downpipe. I may have to mod it a bit as I have a header to bolt onto. All is well, but time will tell...
