Default The Small HAMP Oil Filter

Just picked up the small HAMP filter (IPS was out of the larger size) and will install today. Does anybody have any experience with the smaller filter? I understand the smaller filter helps keep the oil pressure changes during VTEC cross-over to a minumum, but should I have any concerns about running the smaller size?

thanks...

Question: Is HAMP an OEM filter or some 3rd party filter? My friend, who services his car with his Honda dealer, checked his filter and his is HAMP (green) but mine's OEM Honda from Toyo (blue with Honda logos) also from dealer.

It'll match the Takatas nicely.

EPG,

How did you get the carbon fiber accents to match? Is that a stick on tape?
Looks awesome

Now I am curios since I do have the faux CF accents on my GSR. I swapped it with an ITR owner from here.
Anyway, what is the part number? and how much? Thanks EPG.
