Just wondering if anybody knows of a digital tach that wil fit in a regular atometer gauge cluster. I dont want to put a monster tach on my crx. Kindly post if you know where, who makes em and how much... thanks much....

 

its hard to find a small tach (2in - 2 1/16in) that reads past 8,000rpm. digital ones are your only shot at reading past 8,000rpm and fitting into a gauge pod. here's what i'm considering.

how about a digital speedometer? and the other guages in the stock cluster (gas, temp) that would be tiiiiite to have it all digital.... i know i'm lame

I was looking into a Ciberdyne Tach, speedometer, ¼ mile time into one gauge, it's about 260$ canadian, and i was looking at it because i got speedo compatibility probs in my car. But Cyberdyne make a great variety of different digital gauge. so have a look

avoid digital tachs... the sweeping needle is VERY VERY useful when racing... believe me on this.

 

I agree with driven. How the hell can you read a digital tach while doing any kind of agressive driving. I understand though that your after a small one to fit in a gauge pod. i love this idea of having a needle one . The stock ones perfect then having a digital one for tunign idle see what your max RPM is etc. very cool idea now i want one like the first one above with the red led.

 

thanks for all the replies.... My crx speedo only goes upto 8 grand and im eventually going to go past 8. It would be hard to read a digital while driving aggressively however I am really against putting a monster tach in my crx

I have a 3" tach... you can get a smaller one...just do some research. Do a yahoo search for "Tachometer" and "2"" and i'm sure you'll find a lot of of tachs.
