Default Question about the CUTTED RCA calbe!!

some guy broke in my car and stole my deck, needless to say, they cutted the rca. so im wondering if i can get some different plugs and rewire/reconnect the rca cable? would it have the same output

it's cut...not cutted and yes you can.

LOL... Cutted... WTF is wrong with kids these days????

Anyways... Yes, you can splice it back together. Just make sure you keep the shield and center conductor separate, provided you have a good set of RCA's... If you've got the **** ones that are just speaker wire with ends on them, run new ones...

Also, your deck will still have the same output. RCA's don't have output.

hahah i didnt take act, i took sat tho, and my verbal score was somewhere around 400 hahah. ******* weak


i dono how to run the wires coz you have to remove the seats panels and **** right?

Yeh if ur not used to fooling with audio stuff,i would bring it to any Mobile One or even Best buy should be real cheap.

I just cutted the cheese... And it smells... Not as bad as this thread does, though...

Anyways... No, you do not have to remove the "seats panels". Why you would ask about disassembling the seats is beyond me. You may have to remove the sill plates and lift up your back seat a little though.... You could always follow the existing 'cutted' RCA's back through the vehicle to determine how they're run... It's not hard.

In fact, I think it's safe to say that you'd be better off buying new RCA's rather than trying to put new ends on... If you have to ask about how to run them, then you're probably not going to be able to put ends on properly...

Just buy new. If you've got to, take it to a shop and have them run them for you.

you dont know how to remove the seat and panels? can you handle dressing yourself in the morning?
