Default just thought i'd ask...probably not possible...

i have a 97 civic exthat didnt come with a cd player. right now i have my aftermarket headunit(sony cdx fw700) with the stock radio hooked up with a t harness behind the dash. my question is, is there any possible way i could somehow wire the aftermarket headunit to be controlled by the stock one? the goal id like to achieve is to mount the aftermarket headunit in the lower slot with no faceplate and have it controlled by the stock honda radio. if this sounds really confusing let me know and ill try to clear it up.

thanks guys

I have never even thought about trying this but i would estimate the level of difficulty to be a 10.

Im gonna have to say scrap that idea. get your self a cd changer. What the hell is so great about your stock deck that makes you not want to get rid of it? And if its CD you want why not just get a honda stock CD player and swap it?
