Default Aftermarket Gear set legal for SFWD?

Can you run a G-Force gear set in SFWD? I am assuming the answer is yes as long as you utilize your stock tranny case.

I'm pretty sure that Fast Is Fun is correct. As long as you operate inside the stock tranny case, everything should be legal. But once again, all technical questions are best directed to straight to nhra.

Contact Pat Cvengros at pcvengros@nhra.com, and he can give you the "straight scoop".

You always want to get answers from NHRA on technical issues, no matter how simple they might sound. Can save you a lot of hassle during tech inspection. Being properly prepared is more than half the battle.

If it fits in the stock transmission housing, then why mention it?

Isn't that what racing is about?

Can somebody create a new topic with this email address in it, and sticky it, so we don't see these questions over and over again?

As always thanks Jim

No, sorry. No this exact question, but the question of whether something is NHRA legal or not has been asked a million times over. It'd just be nice to have the email address in an easy to reach place.
