Help Tire Size alignment
The 91 CRX I got has 185/70r14
are these tires too big for the car? My tires are wearing out much quicker on the outer edges.
car also has adjustable coil overs, so what should the ride height be to avoid tearing up my tires?

Although having bigger tires than you're supposed to is not good, it's not the reason your tires are wearing out faster than normal. I would go and check your alignment and see if your camber is off. Wearing out in the outer edge is a sign of positive camber.
How much is it lowered?

Doesn't appear to be lowered much, if any. Might be a lil higher w/ the bigger tires. I also don't know where to measure the height at. Was gonna get a set of 185/60r14 that should lower it about 1 1/2" I was gonna re-adjust the hidth after getting the right size tire on.
The front end steering knuckles have also been changed I believe they are from a 93 integra.

your tires are fine.
the advice to get an alignment to fix your tire wear problems is correct.
however, its not to fix the camber, its to fix the toe. that is the cause for uneven tire wear.
whenever you change your ride height, the toe changes and is why tires wear uneven.

thank you again...I just got a set of used 185/60r14 to use until I get the alignment straight.
Let me see if I got this straight:
Toe in, would be the wheels pointing in toward each other and toe out would be the tires pointing away from each other? is this correct so far?
if so, than which would be responsible for the tires wearing on the outer part more quickly?
also, know that I have correct tire size on, how high should the car sit off the ground...and do I measure from the frame to the ground, or bumpers, or elsewhere?
thanks again
