Default Motor mounts vs. Inserts

I know that some swaps require a new motor mount, but is there any advantage other than bling to use a solid mount like Haspot, Avid, dvdt over just using inserts like Prothane and ES when new mounts arent required?

prothane makes an excellent insert kit. I would use that over a mount kit anyday. ES on the other hand is not as great. I would use a mount kit if ES and a mount kit was my only option.

All depends really on what you are looking for in my opinion.
Of course, if your type of swap requires a mount kit for easier installation -use it -HASport at that .
My past experiences with personal cars and feedback from customers -those inserts are most of the time a pain to deal with. They are reliable (never really fail) but also do cause more vibration and more noise than normal mount kit upgrades.
There are things that you can do, such as maybe only do a certain amount of the replacements or inserts.

go with inserts if it's not a hybrid swap.

Es inserts are better/worse in a way.

They use all three torque loading mounts to do what they do. Which is a plus.

They are also not that stiff and depending on what you want it could be a good thing or a bad thing.

I have them and they do not make my whole car vibrate like a ***** vibrator and for me that is good for an everyday driver.

But if you want a better performance improvement/stiffer mounts.
prothane is the way to go with the downside of alot of vibration at idle.

if you have to buy mounts then go with hasport, you wont regret it. as for inserts, i've never ran inserts on stock mounts, so i cant say from experience if theres vibration or whatever. but one thing's for sure, the stiffer the mounts, the less the engine moves, and that will transfer power to the ground better.

I had ES inserts on my TurboZ6 Civic and there wasn't much more vibration at all. But I think that it did help with traction a little.
