Default Are you satisfied with the reliability of your integra?

Did you have major problems with it? Did it ever let you down? Mine has 90,000 miles and no major problems with it, except for the input shaft bearing which is noisy since 16,000 miles now... But as it did not cost me anything yet, overall, I'm very satisfied

Mine let me down 1 time but that's because one of my tires blew up!

the only time mine let me down was when my buddy grabbed the steering wheel and we went flying across the median at 100mph

MIne has been perfect (knock on wood).....if something sounds or looks like it needs to be replaced then I do it as soon as possible to avoid further trouble. It has never given me any problems as far as reliability.......I bought it with 81K and she now has 112K...purrs like a kitten.

only had it for 3000 miles...
2000 2door red gs-r...
every once in a great while it doesn't wanna get all the way into first gear...
sometimes i cure this by shifting into second ...and then into first...
today i tried going with it on first halfway just to see what it would do
*boy was that stupid hahahah*
it grinded ...so obviously i'm not gonna do that anymore...
it RARELY does that though...
car has given me no problems..but then again..it only has 15500 miles.

Mine has never let me down. Got it when it had 6 miles on it now it has over 110,000. Only problem I ever had was the sunroof was chattering when closing. I'll take that over engine problems.

It's just that little **** like the power windows moving slowly, various rattles I hear from the door panels...etc..that bothers me sometimes....but as far as reliability, nah, It has been fine.

You take care of the Integra, and the Integra takes care of you.

honestly, build quality has not been up to par with other hondas i've had experience with.. there's some loose rattles and squeaks here and there, paint chips easily and body panels dent easily, road noise could be quieted down a little, but overall it's been pretty good. reliability-wise my mom's 5th gen accord EX is doing a lot better, but that's to be expected when you modify your car i guess

As far as import cars go, my Integra is awesome on reliability. I use everyday, race it whenever and it starts everyday. You can beat on it and it will still run good unlike the DSM.

So far, So Great! Best car I've ever owned!

I went from a '99 GMC Jimmy 4x4 to my '01 GSR. The Jimmy was tougher, but damn. No comparison to the fun factor and reliability of my Integra!

Other than usual wear and tear (clutch, tires, suspension) she's the best car ever! We now have 102,000 miles and she feels stronger than when I got her, if anything. Every six months Lawrence Webb at TGS gives her a going over, and any little problem is fixed then and there. I change the oil every 5000 (mobil 1 synthetic) and keep up the fluids.
If you take care of her, she'll be your best friend! Better than I can say for most females (and yes, my GS-R is definitely a female. A very, VERY hot, fun, classy but not snobby, interesting, intelligent, adventurous, sexy female... It's just too bad she's not a human female!!!)

besides the cheapy feel of the car (not fit and finish related, but just how solid the car feels and it's rattles), no problems at all.

mine has been really great as well, only major things i had to replace was the Radiator which is normal at 100,000+ miles and the master brake cylinder. The car now has 106,000 miles

Well between the 2 tegs I have owned and the 70k combined miles on the two that I have driven, in the last three years. The only problem I have had was the radiator commiting suicide. They have never left me stranded. My current one is at 48,xxx miles should break 50 in the next week or two. Time to renew my AAA.

The only non wear and tear item to ever go was the clutch master cylinder. The car has 119k on it and looks brand new, with very, very few paint chips, no swirlmarks, perfect gloss. The motor is strong as hell. The original clutch is just starting to go and I have a exedy/toda FW coming. I could not be more pleased with the car

35k on my 99 auto ls and only problems were a shaky driver window (dealer fixed), and passanger side door nipple was mis aligned (dealer fixed), CEL code 70 3 times now (auto transmission malfuction, dealer said "no problems" and reset the computer twice, so from now on I reset myself).

Nothing big, I'm happy, we'll see how it holds up to the turbo I'm putting in next week at 7 psi.

I hope you have had some work done to your tranny I would hate to see it go at such low miles from the turbo. My teg runs great no problems except rattleing window but I try to not pay attention to that. Love my Integra

When the car is moving it will be hard to shift into 1st, or sometimes it won't go in at all. To avoid this, you should rev-match, or just let go of the clutch then press on the clutch again.

Im pretty satisfied w/ Honda motor corp in general.. other than the teg I have another honda and both have been great.. the only things that NEEDED (actual need not mods) to be replaced were all maintenance/regular wear and tear parts (clutch, brakes, tires, fluids, etc..) other than that the only 2 times it left me stranded was because of a dead battery (not acura's fault), and a slashed tire (not acuras fault)... never broke down on me or anything.. I do keep my car in tip top shape and use all premium parts and fluids and adhere to all maintenance procedures. so either that paid off or these cars are just made really well.. cuz in over 100K (test drove w/ 7 or so miles.. bought w/ around 10).. its been great..
