Timing Belt for F22B2 Engine
Guys, I have a Honda Accord 94MY Philippine Market with an engine swap. The engine currently installed is an F22B2. From research, I found this engine is also installed on 94-97 Accords for USDM and Prelude Si
I am having problems sourcing the timing belt for this particular engine. The old one installed has 126teeth. We tried installing the same timing belt but found that it is too tight to fit. I was thinking maybe this is the wrong timing belt to use. Does anyone know the correct timing belt for F22B2 engine? This is a non-vtec DOHC engine. Would you also know the number of teeth the correect part has?

if it is from the 92-96 usdm prelude si, then it is not from the 94-97 accords (dohc vs. sohc). f22's are single cams in the 94-97 accords. if it is vtec, get a t-belt from the 94-97 vtec accords (ex model), and if its non vtec, get one from the non vtec 94-97 accords (lx model).
yes it is a DOHC non VTEC but that engine was not released by Honda Cars Philippines. I am wondering..did honda use this engine for other models aside from 94-97 Accord LXs? Would you know other models which used this engine?
