Turbo or Supercharge GSR?
Ive got a 98 gsr with i/h/e. Am seeking a safe way to gain horsepower. Running a jackson racing supercharger kit at the recommended psi vs a greddy turbo kit at the recomended psi? Using both the engine managements the companies offer.
Daily car, ,keep in mind. Surface streets, highway, freeway usage car. Just want more power. Thank you guys for your input and help it is much appreciated.
Dont mind the price. Just tell me which ones safest and best way.

Depends. If you want all around better power just for daily driving the S/C isn't a bad choice. Turbo can also be a good choice if you choose a simple kit that effectively gives the power you want, where you want it (Greddy kit for example). I've never driven a S/C Honda, but I would suspect it would be loads of fun for a DD.

first off, what are your goals, do u want more low end power, or do u wanna feel that turbo spool. Is your gsr block stock or do u have internals done
i had a greddy kit on my gsr spools fast and is awesome for daily driving. i recommend it if ur not gonna go any further. also if u want the most out of the kit, ditch the 310cc injectors for some 440s, and ditch the greddy blue box that comes with it and put in a better piggy back like a emanage ultimate or hondata and tune it. the blue box is gay and only makes around 200whp with that on it

Turbo all the way unless you really want to say your car is "supercharged" for whatever reason.

Just depends on your goals with the car. Theres more potential to make alot more power with a turbo setup. But then again, I mean personally i'd be happy with a supercharged daily driven gsr, nice gains in power, and it would be a blast to drive. I don't think you can go wrong with either one.
Do the research, and figure out which one best suits your needs/goals for the car.

GET A DAMN SUPERCHARGER!! seriously every body has a damn turbo honda.. im so tired of that.. all my friend are boosted but none are supercharged.. seriously go different.. AHH THE NICE BUEATIFUL NOISE OF THAT GIRL WINDING UP!!! that what i wanna do to my GSR
i have the same setup( 98 gsr with i/h/e) and done a lot of research on both. turbo greedy kit is the way to go. thats what i'm doing this summer.
It's up to you, neither is a bad choice if you want 200-250WHP cheap and easy. If you want more then I'd look into other options. I'd go JRSC (not vortech or procharger) for ease of installation and a slightly more flexible powerband. I'd ditch the fuel management for either one and pick up some injectors and something to tune it with.
my vote would be Greddy kit - i own one personally and love the instant power and torque. (check sig) at about 10.5psi its about 250whp too
i often drive around in vaccum (aka out of boost). even when i drive it kinda hard i get an averge of 28.5 mph ALL CITY driving. no highway. zero.

well how much is the greddy kit ur gonna buy, i had a junkson ( imean jackson) and they create so much more heat than a sentrifical supercharger. I would go turbo if i could do it again, but i mind save up the couple more pennies and get a peakboost kit

That's another problem with superchargers over turbochargers...
