I just converted my 98' gsr to obd1 and after starting the car it idles at 2000 rpm then when gets warm drops to 1500 and sometime fluctuates between 1500 and 1000. But after it is warm i can rev it past 2500 rpm and it will drop to 1100 then to 900 (normal) and stay there until i rev it again. Can some one tell me what the problem may be?(searched)

 

check some of your vaccum hoses, you might have missed one just plug it back in.

 

bump. is yours chipped? i have a chipped p28 in my 95 integra n mine fluctuates when i i warm it up when the motor is cooled a little bit.

 

but the car idled fine with the other ecu. and the guy i bought the ecu from said it was chipped but i havent checked myself

 

I unplugged the clip going to the the thing in back of the IM and it idled fine can anyone help?
