Best 60' Times with All-Seasons
I'm bored with the winter and saw the Best 60' Thread earlier. And since no one is posting up an in-progress threads of their builds, I figured I'd make a topic. Just wanted to limit it quite a bit and only include All-Season street tires (not Azenis, BFGs, or anything of the sort.) We're talking like 175 series Walmart tires and what not.
I believe my best was the one found in my sig.... 2.33. I've probably taken 5-6 passes on these tires. So maybe I'll aim for a 2.2 this season.
Holy hell... I am bored.

My friend had his turbo Integra at the track. He bet me, I couldn't beat his time. 1st and only time driving that car. I got a 2.01 short time, on nitto 450's. The tire size was 205/40r17. Stock gsr tranny with open diff and the only supension he had on the car were Tein lowering springs. I guess it helps to have driven a powerful DSM, so you know how to slip the clutch at 5500 to 6500 rpms.

I slip the clutch on my DSM, not to get a good 60ft, but to save my transmission and transfer case.
But pulling 1.7's on all season Continentals is priceless!
