Default VTEC NOT WORKING!!!!

my vtec is not working, not sure why, i think it might be a bad solineoid, but im not sure what else it could be. can anyone help? thanks

if its not throwinng a code it could be the solenoid check all the wires

check your oil level.

1) VTEC solenoid
2) lack of oil pressure (lack of oil)

check your oil. Do you have a CEL? if not, unplug the green wire on the solinoid and put it to 12V, if you hear a click, its prolly working the engine should idle poorly with 12 v to the solinoid. If not, remove it and clean the 2 little screens and check the O-rings for cracking. Replace if needed.
