need important advise on gsr
i have a gsr with 150k on it. I,H,E. the motor is leaking oil but still runs strong. also blows out black smoke when downshift in freeway. my question is.. i have a set of skunk2 stage1 camshaft and itr valvesprings. is it safe for me to install them and drive it daily or will it blow? or should i buy a new longblock and then put them cams on?? advise plz

Personally I'd have the cylinders honed, replace the rod bearings, rings, and any seals that are leaking while you're doing the head work. Might as well.
