Default Power window problems (SEARCHED)

I already searched but my problem doesnt seem to fit the typical off track issues people have had.

my passenger side window wont go up of down with the power switches. I can push up or down while using the pw motor in the same direction but when you just try and push up or just down it makes a VERY loud clunk, clunk, clunk noise.
any help would be most appreciated.

I had a similar problem hen I installed P in my EG. I cleaned out the tracks and then sprayed them with silicon spray that I got from a local Airsoft store. They now go up and down smoothly. Made a HUGE diff, hope this helps.....

I will reword, sorry. the window will not go up or down by means of power. the motor itself does work but the wondow will only move if I move it in the direction I want it to go. I dont think this is the simple lube it fix cause it makes a very loud clunking/gears not quite making contact noise.

Your power widow actuators sound broken and the motor could be going out. Just replace them and you should be fine

Window regulator sounds busted.

Take off the door panel and run your fingers across the teeth of your window regulator. If they're worn down that's probably your problem.

I had a problem where the top teeth of mine had worn off so the window wouldn't go up or down for the last 3" unless I pushed or pulled on the window.

Should only cost about $20 at a used parts store.
