Factory Alarm 93 Wagon EX
I have just a couple questions.
Do they still make the keys at the factory like mine. (Key and keyless entry in one)
Second where was the factory "alarm armed" red light and is there a box under the driver side bottom dash cover, right below your knees. Has 2 switches for auto arm and another for the honk. And a disarm button on your guy's cars?
Thanks all.

i have a 92 coupe with the factory alarm, it has the switches you are describing. the red led in mine is on top of the steering column.
im not sure about the key and keyless entry combination, for my car i have a seperate key and remote. i got a new remote from honda a few months back, all you have to do is put a little chip thats provided in the remote and in the alarm control box under the driver seat.
i would like to see this key/remote you have....

Yep you described exactly what I have. I'm guessing in 94 they moved it (at least in the EX models) to the left of the cruise and sunroof switch.
Here's the key. I have 2, this one the rubber button came out, but she still works.
What are the chances that this thing recharges when in the ignition?

wow never seen that, i want one hah, does it have any part numbers or anything on it?
as far as i know the keyhole wouldnt recharge the battery for the remote.

WOW! That's expensive. Glad both of mine still work. Though I don't see how you'd ever change a battery in it. I dunno, it'd seem kind of off for the same battery to still be kicking after 12 years.
